Green Finance Group wins record 25 finance awards in 6 months

It’s been a big week for the Green Team, in the best of ways.

On Monday night Green Finance Group were awarded the honour of all honours at Loan Market’s Annual Awards – Number 1 Finance Brokerage Australia/NZ.  It’s still sinking in.

In addition to our team award, I also managed to secure the Commercial Finance Broker of the Year Award, even though I was up against tough competition in the form of three of our very own Green Finance Group Commercial Finance Specialists:

If you’ll humour the introspection, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on this latest team achievement for a few reasons.

It’s not lost on me that industry award ceremonies seem to be a bit of a thing in the finance industry. Undoubtedly, when working with numbers in general there is a universal need to quantify and rank.

Back in 2010 when I first established Green Finance Group, working independently as a business finance broker (out of my home office), I found the awards a big help in qualifying my service to new clients.

Of course, it means a great deal to have your hard work acknowledged amongst peers and lending colleagues but more importantly it’s an ever-improving benchmark of professionalism in the various speciality fields of business finance broking, home finance broking  and equipment finance broking, that is now of the highest standard.

Fast forward to 2023 and this award represents the 21 experienced finance brokers and additional 10 customer support staff that make up Green Finance Group. It represents the 1,000 clients we helped last year, to secure almost $1 billion to purchase new businesses and commercial investments, to buy land for development, to expand existing business operations, to get into new homes or buy rental properties, and even upgrade machinery and cars.

This award also represents the pinnacle of the last 6 months in which the broader Green Team of finance brokers has won a total of 25 industry accolades recognising excellence in broking in commercial finance, residential finance and equipment finance. We know experience matters in this business and this is further proof.

I’m so proud of the efforts of our whole team and of the level of care and dedication you show to our clients every day.

A huge thank you to our clients for trusting us with your finance and leasing needs. To our colleagues and business partners for endorsing our services and, to the Loan Market team for your ongoing support.

Hopefully we’ll continue to add to the trophy cabinet in October as the team (Top Brokerage), myself (Commercial Finance Broker of the Year), Mark Anyon (Broker of the Year – Specialist Lending) and our newest residential finance specialist Brad Donnelly (Young Gun of the Year)  are also in the running for top industry honours at the last ceremony of the year – Australian Mortgage Awards.

The pics below give you some insight into our Brokerage of the Year celebrations. And now we are back to work…
